This is my 9th year volunteering as the President for the DGS Parents Club.  My husband, Jeff, & I have 4 boys, a Senior (DHS), a Sophomore (DHS), 6th grader (DVMS), & 4th grader (DGS).  From 2002 through the end of 2008, I worked as a Design Engineer at Caterpillar.  In 2008 I became a stay-at-home mom, until 2022 when I started subbing at the Dunlap elementary schools.  During the summer I am the Head Swim Coach at Arrowhead Country Club, and during the school year I am the DHS Assistant Coach for the Girls and Boys Swimming & Diving Teams.  I also volunteer Coach the DGS Running Club.  Yes, I am that PTO Mom! 

You might also run into me if you come to vote, when I work as an Election Judge for the Peoria County Election Commission.  I serve as the Treasurer of the DHS Parents' Association & the Treasurer of the DVMS Booster Club.   

As a family we stay busy with our favorite activities: running/XC, swimming, obstacle races, orchestra, martial arts, chess, READING, hiking, camping, & traveling!

I’m excited to serve as Treasurer for the Grade School Parents Club and to give back to a
school community that has been an important part of my family for generations.
I attended Dunlap Grade School, as did my dad and my brother. My daughter also attended
Dunlap and is now a graduate, while my son currently attends the school. With so many
members of my family having walked the halls of Dunlap, the school holds a very special
place in my heart.
My connection to Dunlap continues beyond the grade school years. I currently serve as
Corresponding Secretary of the Dunlap High School Alumni Association, where I enjoy
staying connected with alumni and supporting the Dunlap community.
As someone with a professional background in accounting and tax, I’m happy to put my
experience to work as Treasurer. I look forward to supporting the Parents Club, helping with
its activities and events, and contributing to a welcoming and memorable experience for our
students and families.
When I’m not working or volunteering, I enjoy reading, bowling, gardening, and crafting. I love
having a variety of hobbies that let me relax, be creative, and spend time with family and
friends. I’m looking forward to getting to know more of the Dunlap families and making this
school year a great one!

This is my third year volunteering with the Dunlap Patents Club and my second year serving as Secretary. My husband, Rob, and I have one kiddo, Jameson, who is in second grade. I work for OSF HealthCare as the Coordinator Internal Communications in their Marketing and Communications division. I am a proud graduate of Bradley University, having earned my Bachelor of Science in Marketing and my Master of Arts in Nonprofit Leadership. When not cheering from the sidelines for one of many sports, I spend my time in the local community theatre scene either onstage, creating props, practical effects, or helping run backstage. Our family enjoys being outside, video games, riding bikes, running, and reading. Can’t wait to meet everyone and support our school!
